Within the project of EAFRD the Society “Saldene” has carried out the project “Establishing the minigolf court for people in Saldus and Brocēni”. The purpose of project – to improve the quality of life for local people, to make the suitable environment, to promote and diversify the leisure activities for local inhabitants, to encourage people of all ages to lead a healthy recreational and sporty lifestyle, to promote family unity with a common leisure.

The project in Saldus established a minigolf court which met the international minigolf standards. The court is made from glass fiber and therefore can be used for many years. 18 tracks were made, 15 sticks and 20 balls purchased. The tracks are high rated from the Federation on minigolf Latvia.

The project implementation involved volunteers from the Society, their family members and friends and many employees of SIA Norplast. As the minigolf court is not a commercial project, supports by all means are very important.

Project has been carried out with the financial support of EAFRD, SIA Norplast and members of Society “Saldene”.

The Society “Saldene” on behalf of all citizens of Saldus and Brocēni expresses their gratitude towards the employees of SIA Norplast, members of the Society “Saldene”, their family members and friends who has taken part in the project.

Two other projects were carried out in the same region under the financial support of the Project Fund of Saldus district community. The Society “Saldene” with support of SIA Norplast offers inflatable attractions for 3-8 years old children and Society “BK Saldus” offers six velokarts for 3-14 years old children.

Entrance to these attractions for children is for free.
