In the school year 2011/2012 NORPLAST SIA in cooperation with the Society “BK SALDUS” supported the following schools in Saldus district:
# Saldus Primary school – 283 students;
# Saldus Elementary School – 352 students;
# Saldus town Gymnasium -247 students;
# Saldus Secondary School – 307 students;
# Druva Secondary School – 330 students;
# Striķu School – 70 students (reflectors event only).

Achievements

1. Each of the 1850 students and teachers were provided with two reflectors, pendant and armlet for enhanced safety on the street in the dark time of the day. A police standing next to the school checked the use of reflectors
2. Providing free meals to 45 poor students from all schools from September to May.
3. Each school got 25 school bags with reflective logo from supporters.
4. Each school got 40 gift cards worth 5 LVL for Christmas and at the end of school year for the most successful and diligent students.
5. Providing access to Saldus swimming pool for students and teachers two hours per week for each school from October to March. Total visits to swimming pool was 1671.
6. Holding three aerobics classes per week for girls from all of these schools in Saldus Sports School from September to May.
7. Organising competition in penalty shots, three-point shots and shots from the center for all basketball groups of Saldus Sports school, in total 140 students.
8. Sponsoring the participation of a gifted singer in the contest “Aprīļa pilieni”.
