At the end of the schoolyear 2015/2016, in spring, students who had obtained the best results from six schools (50 students and 6 teachers each), 310 students and teachers in total were selected to go on an excursion.

Druvas Secondary School went to Liepāja: all 5 schools went to Liepāja
Great Amber and Street Sculptures;
Catedral and Trinity Church; Liepaja Holy Trinity Cathedral
Lunch in Olympic Center;
Cinema -3D movie “Angry Birds”;
Bowling.
Cieceres Elementary Boarding School excursion
56 students and teachers from Cieceres Elementary Boarding School went to Tukums:
“PURE” Chocolate Museum;
Camping “Sveikuļi” – students went to labyrinth which is in Latvian map form;
Road Museum in Šlokenbeka
Baltic Sea.

Tour programme:
Visitors get to know the history of cocoa and chocolate;
A fascinating excursion focused on extraction, treatment and use of chocolate;
An excursion around the truffle room;
Visitors have a chance to taste chocolate and create a chocolate figurine and a praline during the master class.
